In the year 2011 employees’ mean monthly regular salaries were 365 thousand ISK and 400 thousand ISK for full-time employees. Total regular salaries for full-time employees in the private sector were 431 thousand ISK and mean total salaries 469 thousand ISK. Paid weekly hours were 43.4. About half of full-time employees received total monthly salaries between 250 and 450 thousand ISK in the year 2011.
