There were little or no changes in the distribution of income in Iceland between 2012 and 2013. This can be seen from the quintile share ratio which compares the lowest income quintile and the highest one. The quintile share ratio was 3.3 in 2013 which is the same value as in the two previous years. The income distribution was similar to what it was in 2004 when the quintile share ratio was 3.4.
