The rate of inflation in the European Economic Area measured with the Harmonised Indices of Consumer Prices (HICP) was 2.2% in the year 2006 equal to the inflation in 2005. The inflation in Iceland was 4.6% in 2006 but 1.4% in 2005. English summary is on page 4.
